Random Frustration (A Poem I Made When I Was In Fourth Year Highschool)

Head upward, heart below the grave
Give my life meaning and I’ll neglect it
Look beyond my eyes, my heart is calloused.

Emancipate yourself from love, that irrational thing
that ruins the hopes of many, rewarding their unfailing love
with disappointments.

Choose bad from wrong, in that way
You’d eradicate that murderous thing, love.
